Dr. Josephine Olsen, D.O. is a board-certified Family Practice Physician and founder of Icon Medical in Sarasota, Florida. Her medical training began with a love for anatomy and biochemistry, followed by osteopathic medical education focused on whole-person care, the connection between the body’s systems, and Osteopathic Manipulation Techniques.
After medical school, Dr. Olsen commissioned into the United States Air Force and completed her Family Practice Residency with secondary training in Pain Management at Eglin Air Force Base. Her training included broad clinical experience across more than 15 specialties, giving her a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care, preventive medicine, and care coordination.
